10. Stability and reactivity
Stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Avoiding Conditions: Heat, sparks, ignition sources, static.
Materials to Avoid: strong acid, carbon tetrachloride, halogen gas, alkyl co-catalysts, peroxide salts, 4 - nitro-methane.
Hazardous reactions: halogen gas, the presence of aluminum, high temperature reaction. Strong oxidant, the reaction, intense exothermic reaction, an explosive mixture, 4 - nitro methane, sensitive explosive mixtures.
Hazardous decomposition products: Diethyl N, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydroxide.
11. Physical data
Acute toxins:
Inhalation: vapor concentration of 50ppm, slight headache, drowsiness. 100ppm: Stimulation of the nose, throat, respiratory tract, causing fatigue, dizziness. More than 200ppm: vertigo nausea. More than 500ppm: mental confusion inconsistent. Higher concentration of 1000ppm: inhibition of the central nervous system, leading to unconsciousness, may cause kidney failure.
